India Won Against Bangladesh by 87 Runs in 2011 ICC WorldCup Cricket
70On 19 February 2011 , the match between India and Bangladesh took place in the Shere Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Cricket team won the toss and they made a big mistake by deciding to field.
Indian Team made 370 runs losing 4 wickets in 50 overs. Bangladesh Team made only 283 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs.
Thus the first match of the 2011 ICC World Cup was won by India against Bangladesh , which is the hosting country. India gets 2 points in the Points Table with the win in this match.
India has won against Bangladesh in the First match of ICC World Cup Cricket 2011.
With the huge score of 370 runs set by India against Bangladesh , India managed an easy win over Bangladesh.
Even though the batsmen of Bangladesh batted fiercely , India took over the game with help of smart bowlers.

Virender Sehwag was the star attraction of the match , with a tremendous Century with total 175 runs.
This was made by Virender Sehwag from 140 balls that included 5 Sixers and 14 Boundaries.
Virender Sehwag who managed a striking rate of 125.00 fell at last bowled by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh.
Master Batsman Sachin Tendulkar disappointed the Indian fans by getting out scoring only 28 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar was run out by Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim.
Virat Kohli made a Century from 83 balls which had 2 Sixes and 8 Boundaries.
These smashing runs scored by Indian players helped India to reach a huge score of 370 runs in 50 overs.
First Indian wicket to fall for Indian team was that of Sachin Tendulkar at 69 runs in 10.5 overs.
Next Gambhir fell at 23.2 overs when India was at 152 runs.
Sehwag lost wicket at 47.3 overs when India was at a well settled score of 355 runs.
After that Pathan fell at the last ball of the Innings when India was at an amazing score of 370 runs,
